Presentation of the Test

The French Assessment Tests (TEF) are international reference instruments for measuring French skills by:

  • oral comprehension;
  • oral expression;
  • written comprehension ;
  • written expression.

They enjoy the recognition of:

  • The French Ministry of National Education;
  • From the Canadian federal government for the linguistic evaluation of candidates for immigration to this country ("skilled workers" category);
  • From the Ministry of Immigration and Cultural Communities of Quebec;
  • Many Francophone businesses and educational institutions;

Examination

Where?

The tests take place at ESPRIT LANGUAGE CENTER at 18 Rue Charguia II - 2035- Ariana

Registration details

Registration Times: Monday to Friday 8:30 am - 12 pm and 1 pm-3pm

Single session hours: Monday to Friday 8H-12H

Waiting period: the examinations for the French Assessment Test are subject to a waiting period of two months minimum between two sessions. If applicable, registration will be rejected by the CCIP.

Results and certificates

For sessions scheduled from 1 November 2016, the CCIP will dematerialize the following test results certificates:

  • The French Assessment Test for Access to Quebec (TEFAQ)
  • The French Assessment Test for Naturalization.

From this date, the candidates for the sessions of these two tests will no longer receive a paper certificate. Candidates wishing to obtain a paper certificate in addition to their dematerialized certificate will be able to order this document on the online shop for 50 euros.

No modification may be made to the results certificates once published or put online, apart from the corrections requested on the day of the test.

Steps to follow

  1. Consult the site regularly to check the availability of sessions.
  2. Choose a date according to the calendar posted on the website by checking the availability of places at: 70 250 064
  3. Confirm your on-site registration with the requested documents. Applicants are invited to scrupulously follow the following steps, failing which they will be rejected.
  4. Read / download the document relating to the conditions of registration and of taking the test.
  5. A convocation will be given to you following your registration specifying the date, the place and the time which you must bring in order to sit for the test at the agreed session.

Documents to be provided for each candidate

  1. Photocopy of the CIN or PASSPORT.
  2. Receipt of payment of the costs of the test to AMEN BANK / Agency: CHARGUIA 2). The RIB will be communicated to you after checking the availability of places.
  3. The registration form (to be filled in on the day of your registration).
  4. A valid personal email address (MANDATORY) to be specified in the registration form in order to receive a link allowing you to access directly and more quickly your attestation of results in the French Assessment Test.

Fees are detailed as follows:

  • 1 exam: 210 DT
  • 2 exams: 400 DT
  • 3 exams: 500 DT
  • 4 exams: 600 DT

NB: Registration fees are not refundable.
